Reigning IMSA LMP2 champion Nick Boulle has hinted towards running his 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours invitation with the Inter Europol Competition team. The American driver, who secured his championship title in a dominant 2024 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign, has received an automatic invitation to the prestigious French endurance race.

A Natural Partnership

Inter Europol Competition, the Polish-based outfit with extensive experience in both the World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series, has emerged as a leading candidate to host Boulle's Le Mans entry. The team has a proven track record at the Circuit de la Sarthe, having competed at the event multiple times with strong results.

Speaking at a recent IMSA media event, Boulle acknowledged the conversations without confirming a deal. "Le Mans is the race every sports car driver wants to do," he said. "We're exploring all options to make sure we have the best possible package for June. Inter Europol is a team I have a lot of respect for."

LMP2 at Le Mans

The LMP2 class continues to attract strong interest at Le Mans, even as the Hypercar category has grown with factory entries from Porsche, Toyota, Ferrari, Cadillac, and others. For privateers like Boulle, LMP2 remains the most accessible path to competing at the highest level of endurance racing.

Boulle's IMSA championship season included victories at Sebring and Petit Le Mans, demonstrating his ability to perform in long-distance events. That experience would be invaluable at Le Mans, where the 24-hour format demands consistency, racecraft, and the ability to manage tires and fuel over grueling stints through the night.

An official announcement regarding Boulle's Le Mans plans is expected in the coming weeks as WEC entry lists are finalized ahead of the 2025 season.
